And one of our first blogs will be a product review of the Vevor 15x7x7 Tube style Greenhouse. I Purchased this, this month January 2024. My wife Christine and I will document our unboxing, setting up and thoughts on it. We'll have posts on different homesteading alternative emergency medicine,Herbal Medicine and dozens of topics interesting to preppers.

One that comes to mind is, The FDA is has removed Veterinary antibiotics from OTC (Over the Counter) sale back in June 2023. First off, let me be crystal clear we hear at Gerðs Hearth cannot and will not prescribe, advise nor give medical advice, outside of a "this is interesting to know". But a lot of people stock them. What will the new ban mean for YOU? We'll talk about it and ask other preppers say about this. in future blogs.

Eventually we'll have an online store. With survival and prepping items for you. Items that we've tried out. We'll have classes and webinars available as we get rolling. Freya and I will be upfront with you. Some items will be inexpensive, some not so inexpensive. But nothing will be "cheap"

Guest bloggers here and there. And of high importance.We'll tie in a survival,off grid, prepping or homesteading lesson into the major holidays of pagan faiths. We plan on bring a Heathen and Pagan worldview to the world of prepping.

We have a lot of work to do. One thing that Freya and I have discussed at length. We are not here to save Pagans from SHTF. We are here to give you resources so you can not only survive what ever the 21st century may throw at you, but THRIVE. Survival is cool. But in order to live well you need to thrive. Not only you but your family.

It may be CME. Another Pandemic. Insurrection. Invasion. Aliens, and the most real of SHTF events. I lost my job! You can't plan for everything that may befall us. But can cover the basics so that you are way ahead of the game should something happen

Remember what is said about the All Father Odin:

Odin will not save you. But he will provide inspiration, courage and perhaps some luck so you can save yourself.
